I finished another necklace for my Waterfall Collection. This one has silvery color south sea pearls. Something for that little black dress. This would go great with blue jeans. That’s exactly what I mean about elegant fun. To wear a piece of jewelry with what ever look you like.
This is tie front which means you can play. Cluster the pearls. Tie it so one side of the pearls dangles lower.

I’m looking to appeal to different age groups. For some reason elegant fun is what I’m producing. I have no clue as to why. This is part of my jewelry journey. Creativity should flow. That’s exactly what’s happening.
I am not going to call these ….(bubble tops) I didnt say it.
Its really important to me to create my own designs. Since so many people make all kinds of jewelry, I try to set myself apart.
London blue topaz is such a beautiful color. I really tried to bring out the beauty of the beads.
The tops are dotted with different size fresh water pearls.This is all handmade and can take up to 2 1/2 hours to make. Yes, I love what I do!
This is a new style I’ve been working on, Waterfall Collection. I love the way it cascades down the front of the bodice.
Elegant was the way I saw this. Organic shaped pearls with lots of luster is what I love to use. I picked colors of lavendar, blush, silvery white, and pale peach. I dotted it with smaller round pearls.
The sterling silver chain ties in the front. This way it can be worn with one side higher or both side equal.

Once in awhile I write about something other then what I am creating. I am not a freshly pressed kind of blogger.
I’m not afraid to say that some of my blogs can be boring.
I design jewelry to the best of my ability. That’s 99% of what I blog about.
Of course it’s important for me to stay on top of all the new fashion trends.
I love seeing other peoples fashion blogs.
Tonight I came across a fashion blog with beautiful models and photography.
The first photo I saw the model was holding a gun. Another photo two guns.
Here I sit thinking, what is this? What are these photos saying? Why did the guns catch my eyes first.
Is it ok to wear beautiful clothes with your gun? Guns can be beautiful?
What is this saying to young girls? Girls who adore fashion.
Is Sandy Hook still not fresh on everyone’s mind. All the other crazy things happening?
I for one do not want to see guns mixed with fashion. Famous or otherwise.
I wanted to ask the blogger their view on the photos. I couldn’t because I didn’t want to “like” the post.
I am asking you. What are your thoughts of fashion gun photos?
I am forever trying something new. I have sand blasted vermeil balls. The have a nice glittery appearance. Using these balls as a background, I wove different size fresh water pearls onto them. I was lucky to find these 20 year old carved coral beads. I used this for the drops.
We are about to have a blizzard in New York. I thought snowball would be a good name for them.

I’m on a roll. I have to be, I am opening my own e-commerce store very soon. My fingers are killing me with these bubble tops.
I have to keep going. I really wanted to see how all white and gold would come out.
I had asked the venders for white onyx for months. I guess they are not very popular. As you can see I have them now.
White onyx is also known as agate…I didnt know that.
I thought pearls in two different shapes would be a good choice. Potato and rounds. They look pretty nice as you can see for yourself. Gold filled wire and vermeil hammered hooks.

This is another pair of Bubble top earrings. They look like bubble tops to me, hence the name. I guess you could call them bead caps. I like making these and how they are going to look is always different.
I never know how the end result is going to look. I am self taught and maybe that’s why. I come up with an idea and go with it.
When I’m making more then one bubble top, they all have to be done at the same time. That’s the only way I know they will match up…least I try to.
This is a very pale aquamarine drop. Almost mint color in some lights. I used different shades of coral beads and small aqua beads. Gold filled wire and vermeil hammered hooks.
All the coral I use is recycled. If I happen to see an second hand coral necklace I buy it. Gently clean and take it apart.
I dont believe in ruining coral reefs. Better to find old coral beads or branches.
