Pretty soon now I will be launching my online store. I’m so excited!
Obviously decisions have to be made as to how to show off what I make.
When I look at clothing shoes and jewelry all photographed together, I focus in on this and that. Beautiful clothes, shoes. The jewelry and the model. It could be, oh I want this, I want that.
I thought having a model wearing the jewelry would give perspective to how a piece looks on the body.
Length of a necklace. How long are the earrings.
I want the potential customer to imagine what they will wear.
I chose only black or white simple strapless tops for the models to wear.
I want the focus on my jewelry.
I’m ok at taking my own pictures which I will use too.
Here is “London” I made a set. I had found the darkest London Blue Topaz I had ever come across. The other stones are also London Blue Topaz. All on Sterling Silver.

Nice blog! Good luck with your new store. You’ve done a swell job with your photography!! Some of these baubles would look just peachy with my green circus coat. I also like to assemble things in the jewelry line but you’re way ahead of my colorful concoctions. Happy holidays!
